What Qualifications Will You Need?
A degree in engineering, I.T or Maths will be almost be a must. Graduates with I.T degrees will almost certainly require specific programming languages. If you do not have a I.T, technical or engineering degree then do not worry you will also find these companies recruiting in, marketing, finance, sales and customer service positions where traditionally degree discipline can come from any degree background.
What Skills Will You Need?
Technical, creativity, leadership and numerical skills will be essential skills to help you work within the telecom industry. As technology changes it will be essential that you are adaptable to be able to keep up with this change. Those pursuing a career within I.T will require good programming skills.
As well these technical skills you will also require the more traditional skills that recruiters look for i.e. communication, motivation and dedication.
