Valentines Day And Beyond
1. Do something sweet…
Breakfast in bed is a good place to start. Make some toast, cut it into heart shapes and present it to your significant other with a white rose (red is for passion, white is for true love).
2. Do something crazy…
Set up a scavenger hunt for your partner. Leave them a note asking them to go somewhere where they’ll find another instruction and then another. When they finally get to the end of the trail, you’re the prize!
3. Do something sexy…
Arrange to meet in your local bar but pretend you’ve never met before. Flirt with each other until your evening culminates in a mad, passionate lovemaking sesh. Watch the film ‘When a Man Loves a Woman’ and you’ll know what to do.
4. Do something tasty…
Sneak into the house when you know your partner is out and prepare them a scrummy meal when they least expect it – try serving onions, avocado, oysters, vanilla, ginkgo nuts or chocolate - all aphrodisiacs.
5. Do something simple…
If they’ve got a car, fill it with red balloons and write “I love you” on the windscreen with lipstick. If not, fill up the bath and write it on their bathroom mirror so they see it first thing in the morning.
6. Do something funny…
Write them a cheque for 1,000,000 kisses then make them take it to the bank and cash it.
7. Do something shocking…
Ladies, send him your dirty pants in the post and he’ll love you forever. If you can’t bring yourself to do that, just send a really filthy letter.
8. Do something small…
When she’s run her bath, nip into the bathroom and sprinkle rose petals all over it.
9. Do something saucy…
If things have got a bit stayed in the bedroom, try a bit of literary stimulation. Take a peek at Nancy Friday’s collection of female fantasies, ‘Women on Top’ and we guarantee your evening will go with a bang!
10. Do something daring…
Lie in wait for your partner and then kidnap him/her. Blindfold and handcuff them and take them to one of their favourite places – the beach with a bottle of wine, a restaurant, the theatre, it doesn’t matter, they’ll be thrilled.
11. Do something original…
Find a stone and carve “I love you” on it with a knife. Your love for them is then set in stone, literally!
12. Do something personal…
Buy a small notepad and on every page write a promise, eg. I promise to give you a massage/I promise to wash your car. Give it to your loved one all wrapped up so they can cash in their prizes any time they like!
13. Do something imaginative…
If you can’t be together in person, be together in spirit. Phone sex really is fantastic – you don’t even have to look good! I refer you to ‘The Truth about Cats and Dogs’ if you haven’t already seen it.
14. Do something loving…
It might be a bit obvious, but saying, “I love you” and meaning it is the best way to make someone feel special any day of the year.
