Graduate positions at BAE despite redundancies
Despite widely publicised redundancies at the company BAE Systems' is still running its graduate recruitment programme.
It is thought that up to 1,300 jobs will be lost at six BAE sites and two RAF bases in the UK, following the government’s decision to cancel contracts for the Nimrod MRA4 and the Harrier Jump Jet.
But 2011 intake of graduates at the company is likely to be in the region of 200, similar to this year when 214 were hired.
The application programme for the graduate programme is currently open.
