Lancashire law firm create 100 jobs
Due to rapid expansion Emmetts Solicitors in Lancashire is creating 100 new jobs, including graduate vacancies.
The law firms director Richard Emmett said they are set to employ 60 more lawyers and 40 extra support staff members.
Emmetts currently employs 20 people in Lancashire, based in Preston and Longridge. The new recruitment drive will create a 500% rise in Emmetts employees in the region.
Richard Emmett said the firm aim to be the biggest law firm in the region and one of the top ten in the north west of England by 2012.
"The next five years represent a hugely important phase in our strategic business growth and will see what we predict as a significant shift in the region's legal services sector," he said.
The legal firm, which was set up by husband and wife team Richard and Lindsay Emmett in 2004, may require trainee graduate lawyers.
