Degree will help graduates thrive and prosper
Graduates will find that their degrees will help them ‘until the end of their working lives’ according to the Higher Education Careers Services Unit (HECSU).
Getting a degree will mean you will see yourself "thriving and prospering" at some stage says Charlie Ball, deputy director at HECSU.
"It will be the same for graduates leaving university now," he explained.
"A degree will be a qualification that will last [current graduates] until the end of their working lives."
According to the recent figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), people with degrees earned an average of £12,000 a year more than non-graduates over the past decade.
This is the case despite both demographics entering the employment market on roughly the same pay - £15,000.
