Abundance of graduate jobs in engineering

Graduates are in demand for the engineering industry according to Roevin Engineering.

The sector is “well-placed” at the forefront of the UK’s economic recovery  and has a strong offering in the jobs market state the company.

There is “an abundance” of graduate opportunities for engineers, said Mark Tully, head of Roevin Engineering. He focussed on two areas of the sector that look particularly optimistic for graduates,

"The increasing number of vacancies in the construction industry will be of particular benefit to civil engineers, but will also affect the wider industry in a positive manner," he said.

"The strengthening drive for greener energy is generating significant demand for UK engineers in the utility and renewable sectors."

Engineering was one of the strongest sectors in the economy in March, delivering a 26% increase in positions, according to Monster's Employment Index.
