Our Entry Level Business Development Program
You will join the team as a Sales Consultant and contribute to developing our business in the PR space. In that role you will learn everything about creating tailored value for our potential clients in a consultative process. To succeed in your role we will coach and train you in business communication, effective organizational skills and negotiation tactics. You will rapidly gain insight into public relations as well as crucial business development experience to set a base for your career in the software field.
After demonstrating successful results, business acumen, and management potential, you will be ready to take on a leadership role as the next step. As a Sales Manager you will be in charge of up to five people, and we will train you in your role as mentor and coach to your team. Crucial to your success will be presentation skills, running workshops and working effectively with feedback to ensure sustainable learning for your team members.
Ideally, after only one to two years with Meltwater, the best in class will be ready to run one of our offices as Managing Director, either in the Europe, North America or a new international growth market. Upper management will instruct and coach you on all crucial strategic and operative aspects of running a successful unit within our business.
Your career with the Meltwater Group can continue in Meltwater Press or within one of our other business units. There will be opportunities to set up offices around the globe or to take on regional responsibility. Furthermore, there are an increasing number of positions in our growing central functions such as finance and controlling, marketing and communications, human resources, legal, and technology and development.
Your Ideal Qualifications:
- University degree with strong academic results (2:1 upwards)
-1-2 years working experience (preferred, not required: graduate applicants welcome)
- An entrepreneurial spirit and high career ambitions
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for business development and consultative sales
- A strong track record of meeting goals and deadlines
