Our Programme
As a fast-growing e-Commerce business, technology is at the heart of what we do.
Our 18 month, rotational programme is focused on software development but will also provide you with opportunities to work across our technology teams, for example business analysis, project management and user experience.
Under the guidance of world-class developers, you will learn a variety of programming languages, including Java and mod_perl and be exposed to exciting new technologies across our platform (Ruby, Solr and Mobile). You will also take part in our very popular Hack days where you get to build and create your own projects during work time.
Skills we are looking for:
- Bright and passionate individuals with a minimum 2:1 degree in either Computer Science or relevant Engineering/IT/Science/Mathematics
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must!
- Programming skills in an object oriented language.
Not essential but it would be great if you had:
- Exposure to one or more dynamic language (i.e. Ruby, Groovy, PHP)
- Understood Agile
- Knowledge of 1 or more web frameworks (i.e. Ruby on Rails, Zend...)
