Acorn Adventure is now recruiting for the 2009 season which begins in April.
We are looking to recruit Kitchen Assistants for our centres in the UK, France & Italy.
This role is ideal for people wanting to work in an interesting and vibrant setting, who are looking for catering experience and who want to gain skills whilst working within a unique outdoor centre. Working as part of the catering team you will assist with food preparation and the serving of food, ensuring that hygiene standards are maintained. We provide three well-balanced wholesome meals a day for between 150 and 300 guests and staff depending on which centre you are based at.
You may also be required to assist the Village Manager in keeping the marquee clean and presentable as well as cleaning the kitchen facilities and taking part in any other general catering duties.
Although this is not an activity- based role, you will have contact with groups at meal times, on and around the centre. This rewarding post is an excellent way to learn new skills as we look to develop your potential.
