"At A.C.E. we arrange for people to do conservation work on Game Reserves in Southern Africa becoming involved in a wide range of conservation and research projects.
This varies across the Reserves and may include darting rhino for relocation or elephant for fitting tracking collars. Game capture, tagging, wildlife veterinary work and game counts and monitoring may be part of the work programme.
Anti poaching patrols, alien plant control and the re-introduction of indigenous plants is often part of conservation projects.
Volunteers usually work as part of a team under the supervision of experienced co-ordinators."
