Chalet StaffEver fancied spending the winter in the Alps?
We are looking for an individual or couple who are friendly, motivated and hard working to help run our luxury ski chalet in Chatel.
You will be part of a friendly, personal and flexible team, helping to ensure that our guests have a holiday to remember and ensure there is a warm welcoming atmosphere from the start of their holiday to the end.
Duties include:
* Welcoming new guests to the chalet and helping with their luggage
* Helping to manage to the smooth running of the chalet
* Day to day cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms and chalet living area
* Setting up, serving and cleaning away breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner
* Bake a fresh cake for afternoon tea (6 times a week)
* Shopping for food and other general requirements for the chalet
* Help the chef in the preparation of a sumptuous 3 course evening meal (6 nights a week)
* Dropping off and collecting guests from the ski lifts in the chalet minibus
* Thoroughly clean the chalet on transfer day, in preparation for the arrival of new guests
* And most importantly, ensuring guests are well looked after Job Start : December 2008 Job Duration : April 2009 Job Requirements : You must be highly organised, motivated, friendly and be able to work as part of a team. You must be able to take the initiative and work without supervision. It is preferable, but not essential, that one of the applicants hold catering qualifications and/or have extensive experience of providing cuisine to a high standard. Applicants must have a valid EU passport or French/EU working visa and have a full, clean driving license for more than 3 years.
