Anglophiles Academic is an educational travel company established in 1973. We run English language and activity programmes all around England as well as in Ireland, France and the USA for foreign students between the ages of 11-17.

We pride ourselves on providing a memorable experience for our young visitors and are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, confident and fun people to make the courses run successfully.

We are recruiting for the following roles:

Activity leaders:
Help organise sport, leisure and social activities for students at our residential centres in Leicester and Skegness.

Sports/Musical coaches:
Coach basketball, football, rugby, musical theatre and tennis to students at our residential centres in Leicester and Skegness.

TEFL teachers:
Teach English to groups of up to 15 students at one of our Residential or Homestay centres around the UK, in Ireland, France or the USA.

Director of Studies:
The Director of Studies (DoS) is in charge of the academic programme at our residential centres at Leicester University and Funcoast World. It is a mix of administrative tasks and people management.

Centre managers:
Run one of our residential centres, ensuring the smooth running of the programme and overseeing a large international team.

Computer Games Programmer:
Lead computer games programmation, 3D shaping and flash animation sessions, to help the students creating their own video game.

Anglophiles Academic has a well established network of support. You will be fully briefed before the start of the course by our Academic Director and The Director of Anglophiles. Each of our Homestay centres has a Local Organiser to give support locally and French/Spanish Leaders who travel with the group to look after the welfare of the students and give support where necessary. All activities are paid for and all travel associated with student supervision will be reimbursed. EFL teachers on Homestay programmes teach for four mornings and follow the pre-organised programme in the afternoon, plus one whole day excursion. EFL teachers on Residential programmes teach up to 30 hours per week plus participating in the pre-organised programme.

We have two residential centres at Leicester University and Funcoast World, Skegness. Their programme includes 3 hours of English on most days and sports and leisure activities (or specialised Academies) in the afternoons and evening entertainment such as discos, karaoke, films etc. Like the Homestay programmes there will be foreign leaders on site who will help run the activities and also look after the welfare of the students. All positions are residential and include full board accommodation.
