BAE Systems is an international company engaged in the development, delivery and support of advanced defence and aerospace systems in the air, on land, at sea and in space.
As a graduate Naval Architect you may be involved in a wide range of activities from hydrodynamic and hydrostatic analysis to structural calculations. Support n the development of general arrangements for concept design as well as modifications to existing ships. You will be expected to be able to work closely with other disciplines such as marine and electrical engineers to ensure optimum solutions are developed.
The Graduate Development Framework (GDF) is our main graduate entry route into engineering. A structured training plan, developed between you and your business mentor, will help you to meet all the requirements of professional training accreditation. The aim is to allow you to move freely around the business group during the first two years of the GDF gaining a valuable mix of on-the-job training and external learning designed to build technical knowledge and skills tailored to your individual needs.

Person Requirements:
Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent team working, communication and organisation skills, have board capabilities, make a positive contribution and be able to work closely with a range of internal and external customers.
Degree Requirements:
• To apply you need at least 220 UCAS points (or equivalent excluding general studies).
• Predicted 2:2 degree in Naval Architecture
• The right to work in the UK post graduation.
Salary
From £22,000-£26,000 depending on qualifications and experience, plus £2000 welcome payment and benefits
