We are currently recruiting for bar staff at Cheltenham Racecourse for the 2012 race season.

As a member of the bar assistant team at Cheltenham Racecourse you are responsible for dispensing and serving customers drinks as requested in a polite and efficient manner and ensuring legal requirements of measures and age restrictions are adhered to.
 
You are accountable for following the cash handling and stock control procedures. You will need to maintain a clean and tidy working environment at all times.

The position involves cash handling and use of a cash register.

Full training on bar procedures will be given.

We are the official caterers at Cheltenham Racecourse which is home to hunt racing and host to the famous National Hunt Festival - Gold Cup. 

Catering at Cheltenham Racecourse, provide high quality catering in an exciting environment, with an outstanding range of menus and bespoke packages to suit every occasion.

We are part of the Compass Group who manage multiple venues around the UK once you are registered with us you will be eligible to work at other major sporting venues such as Wimbledon, Edgbaston and Henley Regatta.

You will posses a pleasant, friendly, polite manner and good customer service skills.

You will need to be aware of legality when selling alcohol.
 
Basic numeracy and literacy skill are necessary.
