Leading the way in nuclear energy

The current balance of energy sources simply isn’t sustainable. Everyone knows it. But we want to do something about it. This is why we’re exploring and expanding our involvement in clean, safe and efficient nuclear power generation.
 
We are, in fact, the world’s largest generator in this area. We’ve built 67 Nuclear Power Plants in France alone, and also helped construct, commission and operate some of the first plants in China and South Africa. Quite simply, no one can match our engineers’ expertise and experience.
 

What does the future have in store?

The future is brimming with potential for us. We’re currently involved in the development or new-generation nuclear projects in France (the EPR in Flamanville) and in China (Taishan). We’re also working towards building new reactors in the UK. Nuclear power has the potential to play a huge part in the future of energy. We intend to lead the way.
