Equity Travel - General Assistant

Work in the Alps this winter!

This ski job involves working as part of an Equity run hotel team, primarily involving restaurant service and housekeeping but also kitchen and bar work. Reporting to the Hotel/Duty Manager, your shifts will generally be split and on a rotational basis. Flexibility in this role is essential, especially on change over day.

General Assistant daily duties include:

* Daily cleaning of hotel bedrooms and public areas
* Changing of linen and preparing dirty linen to be sent to the laundry
* Daily cleaning and preparation of the dining room
* Service of breakfast, lunch and dinner
* Bar and / or kitchen shifts to cover days off / illness

Job Start : December onwards
Job Duration : April
Job Requirements : * Previous experience in restaurant/bar/kitchen work is preferable although not essential as full training will be given

* Commitment (your work wont suffer because you have a hangover!)

* Dedication (as above, if you don?t work as you should, everyone has a nightmare)

* Patience (you?re there for the season but clients only come out for one week at a time so you may be asked the same question over again)

*Fun (you are the ?face of Equity?, you set the tone in our hotels, chalets & resorts, and clients don?t want to see boring staff!)

* Flexible (you will work with us to ensure our clients get the best out of everything)

* Hard working (we have a work hard play hard motto!)

* Enthusiasm (you are full of beans but know how to pace yourself)
