Trainee positions:
We look for about 100 trainee solicitors to start their careers with us in London each year.

Degrees sought:
We recruit good students in any discipline, although about 55% of our trainees will normally have undertaken a law degree.

Who are we looking for?:
We need to recruit those who can provide our demanding clients with an impeccable service. We seek those with strong analytical ability, an excellent command of spoken and written English, a high level of drive and determination, developed organisational skills and a real interest in the commercial world. We need our lawyers to have good interpersonal as well as technical skills - and we rate enthusiasm, consideration for others and openness very highly too.

Start dates:
We will start recruiting for our August 2009 and February 2010 intakes in November 2006.

Non-law undergraduates should apply as early as possible in their final year of undergraduate study; law undergraduates should apply as soon as they receive their penultimate year results.
