Greene King

We pride ourselves on consistently offering exceptional value, service and quality to all our customers. This ethos is central to everything we do in our business: the products that we offer, the ales that we brew, the affordable prices that we charge, the team members who serve our customers and the atmosphere of our pubs, restaurants and hotels. It’s a great place to forge your career.

Who we are

Greene King is the UK’s leading pub retailer and brewer, running over 3,100 pubs, restaurants and hotels in towns, villages and city-centre high streets across England, Wales and Scotland. With a rich heritage of over 200 years, we brew award-winning beers and operate managed, tenanted, leased and franchised pubs from our headquarters in Bury St. Edmunds.

Careers with us

It’s the people at Greene King that make us what we are – passionate, friendly, reliable and honest. Being a leading pub company in the country, starts with being the best place to work in the industry. Because we know that if we want our customers to have a great time, then we’ve got to be enjoying ourselves too.

Whether you’re working in our pubs, restaurants and hotels, in our breweries or in one of our offices, at Greene King, we pull together as a team, we focus on our customers, we have the courage to try new things and we achieve results. Perhaps most importantly though, we have fun along the way!

Our graduate programme

At Greene King, we’re a pub, we’re a brewery, we’re a hotel, we’re a marketing office, we’re a logistics firm, and we’re in cities, towns and villages across Britain. That means a wide range of options for college leavers.

Each September our graduates embark on the intensive programme, which we believe is the perfect start for future high flyers in hospitality. Over the course of just 12 months, you’ll have the rare opportunity to soar through different departments, work on a real variety of exciting projects and very quickly learn about the organisation as a whole.

Your on-the-job training will consist of a mix of head office roles and positions in our pubs, restaurants and hotels where you’ll really learn how our business operates. In addition, you’ll be expected to join formal training courses that will cement your learning and development even further.
