The ICC is nestled in the stunning surroundings of The Salcombe Estuary, one of the most picturesque locations in the South West, offering some of the best sailing in the UK. We are perfectly placed on the water to offer a wide range of activities from our team of fantastic Instructors, who expertly deliver courses and activities for all ages with skill and patience. Add to this some great kit, good food and a genuinely friendly atmosphere.

Our floating base is ex-Mersey Ferry 'Egremont', permanently moored in the estuary, which provides direct access to tidal waters and is only a short boat ride away from the bustling town of Salcombe. With accommodation for up to 60 guests on board, showers, drying room, bar, galley and complimentary wi-fi - not to mention the awesome views from the top deck.

An RYA Training Centre, we run RYA Dinghy Sailing Courses from beginner level right up to the coveted RYA Dinghy Instructors Course, RYA Practical Cruising Courses for all abilities, RYA Powerboat Courses from beginner up to RYA Powerboat Instructor and plenty more.

2011 has been our 60th anniversary year and we are extremely proud to have taught literally thousands of children and adults to sail during that time. The ICC is a not-for-profit making organisation and was originally formed to provide sailing for all without elitism or the need to buy a boat, an ethos which continues today - Everyone is welcome.
