Experienced IT Recruiters needed for a true specialist agency to specialise in recruiting IT professionals into financial services.


The Company

This is a small agency in terms of consultants but in terms of reputation and market share they are the most successful in what they do. Specialising only in IT into financial services they have enjoyed huge success in the 5 years they have been operating. Currently they have 10 consultants in Sydney who are all running very lucrative desks and cover the Australian and Asian market. Due to this success and more and more clients coming on board they need to add to the team and recruit consultants who want to be real specialists in what they do and become a business partner to their clients. With a professional attitude and a work hard/play hard environment this is unique opportunity to relocate to a new city and also join a company where you can really advance your career. There are no plans to diversify into other area’s as their USP is that they are so niche they know the industry and candidates inside out but they will open an office in Hong Kong and if this is something that appeals’ to you there would be an opportunity to be involved in this. You will also have the benefit of working alongside the 2 inspirational and motivational Directors who are very hands on and have excellent relationships within the financial services sector as between them they have a wealth of experience recruiting for the sector and have top reputations with all senior level managers. This means you will reap the benefits of these relationships as most of the clients you will be recruiting for will be very warm towards to the business.

The Person

You will have at least I year’s experience recruiting IT professionals, this does not have to be specifically in the financial services arena as you will receive training in the industry but you must have a desire to be a specialist recruiter as opposed to a generalist. You will enjoy working for a boutique agency where you run your own desk autonomously, although you will have full support from the Directors. You will partner with your clients and get to know their requirements well so as to be able to give them the first class service the agency is known for. Please note to qualify for an Australian business visa you need either; 1 year’s recruitment experience and a degree or 5 year’s recruitment experience. Candidates who do not meet these criteria need not apply as our client will not be able to offer sponsorship to work in Australia.




The Role

The role will involve Account Managing PSA business and also developing and maintaining new relationships. You will be working in candidate short market so head-hunting and sourcing the right candidates will be an important aspect of the role.
