Experienced Housekeeper or Chalet Host? This is an excellent opportunity to develop your organisational and management skills to progress on towards hotel management.
Responsible for managing the Chalet team, maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel and laundry area.
Working within a chalet hotel duties include:
*Allocation of tasks to staff within the department
*Monitoring cleaning standards in accordance with Mark Warner standards
*Cleaning guest rooms and public areas
*Monitoring the housekeeping book and ensuring issues are rectified
*Providing a high standard of customer service and assisting guests with requirements and
problems
*Management of linen stock and laundry room
*Ensuring all rooms are prepared in conjunction with the hotel manifest
*Weekly stock takes of cleaning products and ordering where necessary
*Working closely with the Restaurant Manager to manage the chalet team
*Serving in the restaurant when required
*Conducting weekly departmental meetings
*Carrying out Duty Manager shifts when requested by Hotel Manager Job Start : November onwards Job Duration : April Job Requirements : * Previous restaurant or housekeeping/chalet experience would be ideal as well as strong staff management and organisation skills. * You must have an EU passport, UK residential address and permanent British National Insurance number.
