Windows UK Student Ambassador Recruitment

With the launch of Windows 8 on the horizon, next academic year promises to be our biggest yet! Want to be part of the excitement? We’re hiring NOW for our Student Ambassador team.

There are 150 Ambassador positions to fill, and with two Ambassadors per university you can even apply with a friend; just let us know their name in your application and we’ll consider you both for the role!

The role

As one of the first to get their hands on Windows 8, we’ll be setting you loose on campus demoing it to all your friends and fellow students. There will also be opportunities tounleash your inner management and marketing skills setting up your own partnerships between Windows and local student bodies as well as running freshers fair stalls and supporting wider Windows marketing campaigns. Don’t worry if this sounds above you;the role will not require more than 12 hours of your time per month (we’re also considerate to the demands of your exams periods) and you’ll be given bespoke training and guidance throughout the year.

Who are we looking for?

Students who are proactive, chatty and personable are perfect for the role. Being trustworthy is also a quality we look for in all Ambassadors as you’ll be relied upon to perform your duties in your own time. It would help if you’re interested in gaining experience in marketing and management and don’t worry if you’re not the savviest of tech minds as we will provide you with full training. Finally you must be an undergraduate studying at university in the UK.
