NATS - Graduate Trainees – Science & Engineering

Whether passengers are heading for Honduras or jetting out to Japan, it’s the job of the entire NATS team to get them there safely. As a world leader in the provision of air traffic control services, we ensure the safe passage of more than two million flights and 220 million passengers through UK airspace every year. That’s why it’s so vital that ambitious graduates get the training, exposure and support to excel in their chosen career.

You’ll be joining a long-established and highly respected programme – in fact, for almost 20 years we’ve taken great pride in seeing graduates make it in our business. Places on our graduate training scheme are available this year within Systems & Software Engineering, Operational Analysis, Research & Development and Human Factors.

Starting around November, your two-year scheme will include seven weeks’ initial training in air traffic control management and systems, visits to airports and control centres, followed by two placements to give a variety of work experience and a broad introduction to NATS. The posts will be located in Southern England.
