The Sales Division is responsible for sales of the full portfolio of RM products into Schools, Colleges, Universities and Local Authorities. We are looking for graduate Sales Consultants to join the internal (mainly telephone based) team.
In this role you will become the key point of contact for customers, liaising with both field sales and specialists to ensure that demand is generated and that customer needs are met.
Responsibilities:In this role you will develop and grow RM’s relationship with RM customers. This includes generating demand, meeting opportunities and maximising the level of support and service offered. You will be responsible for developing the relationship with key customers and will involve field sales and specialist support at their discretion to ensure that both RM and customer needs and objectives are met.
You will also be responsible for the patch target, forecasting for your territory and for delivering the business against the target and forecast. You will need to work effectively as part of the Internal Sales team, reporting to a Sales Group Leader in delivering the overall Internal Sales targets for the area.
• Achievement of order intake and margin objectives

With a commission package of 25% against target and 8% personal performance against objectives. This means you will have the opportunity to earn between £30- £34,000 per annum.
Training & DevelopmentYou will receive a thorough induction to Sales and customer handling as well as ongoing product and sales training.
Once you have conducted your initial training you will be given an active territory and we will continue to develop your selling skills through to management level.
Our sales specific training programme will ensure that throughout your career you are continuing to develop and progress. We will work with you to identify and actively move you towards your goals.
We also offer an excellent range of courses designed to improve general skills such as presentation and leadership. Your manager will identify goals for you to work towards and proactively support your development.
Future ProgressionRM is very focused on the development of their staff and will provide all the support needed to aid them in achieving their goals.
This role is the basis for a number of career paths. From this position the job holder could develop their customer and selling skills in field sales/account management or their management skills to become a team leader or manager.
Outside these roles there are opportunities to move to other types of roles, such as product or project management with the company secondment scheme.

Qualifications & ExperienceA 2:1 or first class honours degree.
260 UCAS tariff points or equivalent
