The Role
The Learning Platform group are responsible for developing a system that integrates all the different components of each school's ICT provision to deliver a consistent and personalised teaching and learning environment.

There is a vacancy for a graduate to work as a software developer, contributing to the development of these products.

Responsibilities
Under the guidance of a team leader or technical mentor you will:
� Develop and assist in the development of well tested, robust solutions that fulfil agreed requirements within agreed timescales
� Agree functional specifications and component designs
� Work with customers, marketing, support and installations to understand their requirements and ensure that these are catered for
� Contribute to ongoing improvements to the software products and processes

Qualifications & Experience
A 2:1 or first class honours degree in a technical or scientific discipline.
260 UCAS tariff points or equivalent.
In addition you will have:
� A tenacious and imaginative approach to problem-solving
� A planned and organised approach
� A keen interest in IT

Preferred experience will include:
� Experience of C++, Visual Basic or Java
� Experience of Internet and/or database technologies
