About the role:
2017 ENGINEERING SUMMER PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES
SEPTEMBER 2017 INTAKE - REGISTRATION OF INTEREST
VARIOUS LOCATIONS

As one of the UK's largest and most diverse energy companies, we're always keen to identify great talent to support SSE's growth in the energy industry. Our core values of Safety, Service, Efficiency, Sustainability, Excellence and Teamwork illustrate what we as a company are about and we strive to reflect these values in all we do.

We're looking for bright, ambitious undergraduates with a genuine interest in SSE and the prospect of a long term future with us to join our Engineering Summer Placement Programme with placements taking place in the Summer of 2017.

We will offer a structured placement, relevant to your degree and the opportunity to discover more about careers in the energy industry. This is an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in line with your knowledge.

Ideally, you will be studying an Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering degree and will have at least completed your 2nd year of study. Candidates will be asked to undertake a wide variety of duties, and will also be asked to work as part of a team and on their own.

Placements are likely to be in the Networks and Wholesale businesses and we will potentially have opportunities available in our main offices which are based in Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, Glasgow, Yorkshire and Reading.

Please note: This is purely a registration of your interest so we can keep you updated on our Summer Placement opportunities. We are likely to launch our recruitment campaign in the new year, once the recruitment campaign begins you will need to complete a full application form.
