Job Description

You're looking to develop a career in business. But you want to be part of an organisation that gives something back to society. You'd love to be a part of driving forward the performance of a £multi-million Group. But you don't want to be confined by shareholder objectives. Then it's time to meet Sanctuary Group. We're a not-for-profit organisation that operates with the same commercial vigour as any private sector company. And our graduate scheme has been designed to give you all the skills you need to become a business leader of the future.

About the scheme
Lasting for up two years, our Graduate Development Programme will enable you to develop business skills across a number of areas. Initially, you'll undergo a 1 month introductory programme which will give you a chance to get to know more about us, and to get to know your fellow trainees. You'll then undertake five business placements in some of the core areas driving our success - namely Central Services , Housing, Property Services, and Commercial (which includes Sanctuary Care and Sanctuary Management Services). In each placement, you'll be contributing to the development of our organisation, whether you're taking on day-to-day challenges or longer-term projects. Throughout, you'll be mentored by one of our senior managers.

About you
We're focused on the future, so it goes without saying we're looking for people who are just as ambitious as we are. And while you'll need a 2:1 degree or above in any subject as a minimum, your personal skills will be every bit as important here. You'll certainly bring a commercial approach, strong presentation skills and the ideas and initiative to take us forward. If that sounds like you, this is a chance to drive our success, and your own.

How to apply
We're looking for high achieving graduates, so we run a rigorous application process. The first stage is to complete an online application form. If you're successful, you'll be invited to attend an initial competency-based interview - you'll also need to undertake numerical and verbal reasoning tests. If you do well at this stage, we'll invite you to attend an assessment centre. Running over a day and a half at our Worcester office, you'll need to complete a number of tasks, including a business presentation and a series of short interviews with our business managers. You'll also have the chance to discover more about our organisation.
