Three years ago just 15% of employers regularly used the Internet: today that figure has risen to 91%, provoking changes in all aspects of business. Recruitment is no exception, and with increased global competition and low unemployment levels, the identification and recruitment of the best candidates has become increasingly difficult by traditional paper-based methods.
The Internet & Recruitment
TheBigChoice has now harnessed the power of the net to launch one of the most advanced web-based graduate recruitment solutions available today.
Using TheBigChoice services, graduate recruiters can profile their companies and opportunities in front of TheBigChoice target audience; students, undergraduates and graduates. Recruiters can add and update vacancies, training programmes and placements and filter responses. They can also create their own bespoke online application forms.
A 'save and return' option enables students and graduates to enter their Electronic Curriculum Vitae (eCV) onto TheBigChoice database. Using detailed search options (ie. universities, degree class, degree subject, UCAS points) recruiters can explore this database to identify and view eCVs from ideal candidates. The system aims to complement each company€s existing graduate recruitment programme, substantially reducing the time taken and costs incurred in reaching the shortlist stage
