Ours is a fast-track Retail Management scheme. We do not offer training in specific areas of our business such as Buying, Marketing or Personnel. The training programme involves planned work attachments in both selling and selling support departments, written projects, residential courses and seminars. On our scheme graduates should be ready for a department manager level role within one year to 18 months of joining. Their careers can then develop in a variety of areas, including the specialist areas mentioned above and more, although this will depend on individual ability and aptitude.
