Work begins on £30m new Dudley College building
Work has begun on a new £30m town centre campus for Dudley College.
The 'Evolve' building is part of a ten-year project aimed to create an addition learning facility in the town, providing teaching for sixth form, further and higher education. The Evolve building will comprise 8,200 sq m (88,200 sq ft), set over four floors. It will incorporate a sports hall, gym, public performance auditorium and dance studios.
In addition to the college building, plans have also been submitted for a sixth form and higher education centre and 'Construction and Engineering Technologies Centre' on the main Broadway campus is also planned for construction in 2015.
