Autumn Graduate Market Trends launches

October 25, 2012
James Thornhill

The latest research, information and debate on higher education and the graduate labour market is published today (25 October 2012) with the launch of the autumn edition of Graduate Market Trends.

Published by the Higher Education Careers Services Unit (HECSU), GMT Autumn discusses Making the Most of Masters, a project which aims to embed work based projects into taught postgraduate programmes, and the role of universities in student course decisions. It also features in-depth coverage of the widely anticipated Key Information Sets (KIS).

By the end of October KIS (detailed information about undergraduate courses) will be made publicly available. All institutions will feature this information on their websites, aiming to better inform students about areas such as potential employment and earnings, accommodation costs and tuition fees.

In light of this, Graduate Market Trends features three influential individuals in the world of higher education, who discuss the implementation of KIS and the implications for prospective students.

Graduate Market Trends is available free of charge from HECSU. To view the latest edition or sign-up to the e-newsletter visit hecsu.ac.uk
