To help us create a buzz around sales and service in our high street banks, we need great leaders on the front line. That's why we've created our Retail Development Programme. On this unique and innovative Programme we sponsor you to complete a three-year degree while helping you develop the skills, knowledge and confidence you need to push us to be even better. When you graduate, we'll offer you a job as a Barclays Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager.

How the Retail Development Programme works
Over three years, you'll study for a BA (Hons) Business Management (Retail Banking) at
Nottingham Business School at Nottingham Trent University; or for a BA (Hons) Management and Leadership degree at Ashcroft International Business School.

But you'll not only gain a degree. Thanks to paid work placements in Barclays branches, you'll also develop as a business professional and potential future leader in our Retail Banking business. Over four five-month placements, you'll learn how to deliver exceptional retail business performance and lead a team dedicated to customer sales and service. But above all, you'll become an innovative fresh thinker who can bring new strategies to life and make our branches places where customers enjoy unrivalled service.

How we support you

Who we look for
We want to hear from talented people keen to develop a career in retail or the financial services sector. As well as 320 UCAS points, you'll need plenty of charisma, drive and entrepreneurial flair plus the potential to lead and motivate a team.
