Working as a key member of the NPD team, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting two NPD Managers in all aspects of product development for a number of high profile accounts, including well known brands and private label.
Duties include:
- Development of new recipes, and ensuring samples are developed according to brief
- Benchmarking and product evaluation
- Organisation of taste panel assessments, and analysis of results
- Sourcing of new raw materials in conjunction with the Purchasing Team
- NPD trials and product launches
- Assist the NPD Managers undertake cost projects upon recipe formulation.
- Administration including updating raw material specifications and maintaining NPD databases.
The successful candidate must hold a degree in Food Science / Food Technology or technical related area, and have a passion for food and development. 12 months experience in a simlar role would also be an advantage.
