Neilson Active Holidays- - Yacht Engineers

Play an essential part in the maintenance, upkeep and repair of the entire Neilson fleet.

Each resort has a different number of yachts where you and the engineering team could be responsible for up to a fleet of 60 boats.

At any one time you will be the sole engineer on a flotilla of up to 10 boats where your duties will vary depending on the nature of the problem. A good engineer will be able to perceive problems with pro-active maintenance and spares ordering. Job Start : April onwards Job Duration : September/October/November Job Requirements : Working knowledge of marine diesel engines is preferred but not essential as is some sailing experience. There are many attributes to maintaining a yacht such as plumbing, rigging and electrics where you will be primary source of knowledge in resort. You will also need a valid 1st Aid certificate.
