More than 250,000 young guests enjoy a PGL trip each year, and that means a lot of hungry mouths to feed!
We are currently recruiting both qualified and non-qualified but experienced Chefs to oversee the food preparation operation at their numerous centres across the UK, France and Spain.
As the Chef you will be responsible for food preparation and kitchen cleaniness. You will also assist your centre's Head Chef to supervise your team of Catering Assistants.
We're ideally looking for people with previous experience of working in a high volume catering/canteen-style environment. Previous experience of staff management would also be an advantage but not vital - we can provide training.
We believe we offer our young guests and staff a balanced, wholesome choice that fuels them for their day of activities.
This is an exciting role that offers you the chance to build on your experiences and take charge of your own kitchen and team of staff. We offer the nationally-recognised Apprenticeship programme in Hospitality for suitable applicants, helping you to gain a qualification 'on the job.'
We also have vacancies for Catering Assistants to help with food preparation.
As a PGL Chef, you will have the chance to receive a competitive wage, free uniform, meals, residential package, training, qualifications, as well as the chance to live and work in some fantastic locations across the UK, France and Spain.
