What is the Civil Service Fast Track Apprenticeship?
The Civil Service Fast Track is a 2-year, level 4 apprenticeship. It offers you a permanent job in the Civil Service. You can choose one of 6 apprenticeships, each within a Civil Service profession, so whatever your interests there’s a career that’s right for you.

What is the Fast Track Policy Apprenticeship?
Introduced this year, the Policy Fast Track is the newest of our Fast Track Apprenticeships.
Policy Apprentices will work within teams to support the key phases of policy development, implementation and evaluation. The policy that you help to shape will influence the way people live their everyday lives. Alongside your exciting and challenging day job, you will be learning how policy is made and develop crucial skills and behaviours that will make you an excellent policy professional.

What are we looking for?
We would like you to have:

What qualifications do you need to apply?
You’ll need 5 GCSEs, at grade C and above, or the new grade 4 and above, including English Language and Maths, or equivalent, or expect to have these qualifications by 31 August 2018.
You’ll also need an additional level 3 qualification, which should include at least one of the below:
2 x A-levels at grades D and above; or BTEC Extended Diploma grade PPP or above; or
Level 3 apprenticeship; or Equivalent level 3 qualifications of at least 48 UCAS points.
You’ll also need to check you meet the general entry requirements, such as age, nationality and residency.

Apply with your details and complete 4 short online tests. If you successful at the online stage, we will invite you to join us at one of our centres in Newcastle or London for a half-day assessment. Your reasonable travel costs will be reimbursed.
