Momart Limited : Shipping and Customs Assistant Coordinator
The Shipping team have a critical role in ensuring that Momart and our clients comply with all applicable customs, import and export laws and regulations. The team assist the project Co-ordinators with organising and coordinating the transportation and shipping of Fine Art to and from the UK.
We are hiring an Assistant Coordinator, to embark on a career in freight forwarding and gain customs qualifications. There will be a structured training programme, incorporating on the job and classroom learning.
In this role you will assist the team with the organisation and coordination of import and export shipments on behalf of Momart’s Exhibitions and Gallery Services departments. You will be responsible for the preparation of essential shipping paperwork, filling in customs entries as well as requesting internal resources required to carry out each job to meet strict deadlines.
You will have high attention to detail, strong numerical and analytical skills and the ability to maintain clear and concise records. Confident communicating with a range of people, you work well under pressure and have the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Applicants must be educated to Level 3 standard (A level or equivalent) and have Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English (GCSE, A*-C).
