We are the RNLI: the charity that saves lives at sea. Every day of every year, people of all backgrounds get into danger in the water. It's a problem that we're here to tackle. Helping us to achieve this are our beach lifeguards and face to face fundraisers. Both jobs have an essential role in keeping people safe on the beach and saving lives.
RNLI lifeguards must be vigilant to prevent incidents before they happen. They must be fit, and highly trained in rescue and first aid techniques. But more than that, they must be approachable, confident, proactive team players, who are able to interact with the public on a daily basis.
It's a challenging but incredibly rewarding role - no two days on the beach are the same.
As a face-to-face fundraiser, you'll be a dynamic, positive ambassador for the RNLI, actively engaging with communities and inspiring support for our work to prevent the loss of life on the water.
You'll do this by expanding people's knowledge of our lifesaving work and providing them with essential beach safety advice.
Both jobs provide a great location to work in, competitive pay and skills and experience that will be invaluable for future employment. Find out about how you can make a difference and apply to be part of our amazing lifesaving teams at www.rnli.org.uk/workonthebeach.
