Job Description

Essentra is a leading international supplier of specialist plastic, fibre, foam and packaging products with three Strategic Business Units: Component Solutions, Health &Personal Care Packaging and Filtration Products. Every day they produce and distribute millions of small but essential components. Their products may not be noticeable – or even recognisable – but wherever you are, their business is all around you. Their international network extends to 33 countries and includes 53 principal manufacturing facilities, 64 sales and distribution operations and 5 research & development centres.


They are looking for a Graduate Digital Marketing Analyst to join the Components division of the business as it transitions to becoming an increasingly digitally led organisation. The role will be initially based at their offices in either Kidlington, Oxfordshire or Milton Keynes.


As Digital Marketing Analyst you will work within the Analytics and Insight team supporting the definition and implementation of measurement strategies that align with marketing and business objectives, as well as providing actionable insights to various stakeholders across the business.

The position encompasses implementing and maintaining the company’s tag management and data harvesting activities to analyse customer behaviour online / offline.



  • Tag management for the Essentra Components digital platforms using the Essentra Components Tag Management Solution

  • Creation of monthly reports to support the business in understanding the performance of the digital marketing activities e.g. PPC, SEO, affiliate and display.

  • Automation of the regular reporting to enable focus is on new value-add analysis

  • Use data visualisation tools to deliver compelling insight and reporting to the business stakeholders

  • Present analysis and insight recommendations to inform the business on performance and enable decision making


As part of this role you will also join the 2 year graduate development programme training alongside graduates from across the globe as well as being given the opportunity to train in key international locations.


  • Minimum 2:1 degree in Marketing/Digital Marketing or a relevant degree discipline

  • Experience of working in a Marketing/Digital Marketing environment

  • Excellent IT skills – Advanced in Excel

  • Experience in Google Analytics (Google Analytics Individual Qualification)

  • Experience in Tag management, Tableau, jQuery, Javascript and SQL - Desirable

  • A passion for analytics, data and visualisation

  • You must have drive, enthusiasm and be able to demonstrate problem-solving skills

  • You should be self-motivated, with good time management and excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Have excellent presentation skills.
