Essentra is a leading international supplier of specialist plastic, fibre, foam and packaging products with three Strategic Business Units: Component Solutions, Health & Personal Care Packaging and Filtration Products. Every day they produce and distribute millions of small but essential components. Their products may not be noticeable – or even recognisable – but wherever you are, their business is all around you. Their international network extends to 33 countries and includes 53 principal manufacturing facilities, 64 sales and distribution operations and 5 research & development centres.
They are looking for a Graduate Digital Marketing Executive to join the Components division of the business as it transitions to becoming an increasingly digitally led organisation where managing digital platforms, content and channels will be central to the success of the business. You will be based initially from their offices in Milton Keynes.
As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for developing and managing the Components digital website. Primarily focussing on the publishing of compelling content to attract visitors to the websites and then supporting them in finding what they are looking for.
Implements digital marketing strategy with the Digital Marketing Manager
Management of search terms through On-Site Search Platforms globally including keyword redirects and synonyms On-going analysis of site search metrics, customer behaviour and research to identify potential improvements to on site search configuration
Manage Content Management System, creating, building and publishing pages and uploading content, reviewing and improving user experience, through the tagging structure and hierarchy, working with CMS owner to identify new functionality and areas of improvement.
Site merchandising create a suite of activities that align with business objectives to promote products, best sellers, cross sells and recommendations.
Site marketing and content strategy, working with the Content team and Customer acquisition to create product site links to supporting content in the Knowledge Centre.
Manage Social media channels ensuring that channel objectives are met, including visits, ROI and budget targets, while always driving improved optimisation through channels.
Analyse the performance of campaigns and identify and suggest conversion optimisation opportunities to improve ROI and drive performance. Using Hotjar and GA.
Proactively develop strong working relationships with key teams such as commercial, Marketing and agencies to ensure campaigns are fully optimised and kept up to date.
Minimum 2:1 degree in Marketing/Digital Marketing or a relevant degree discipline
Experience of working in a Marketing/Digital Marketing environment
Excellent IT skills with a technical flair
You must have drive, enthusiasm, a ‘can do’ attitude, with the ability to think for yourself and take responsibility for your actions from day one
You should be self-motivated, with good time management and excellent organisational skills with the ability to co-ordinate large levels of workload
Have excellent communication skills at all levels and be inherently customer-oriented
You must detail-orientated
Ability to speak/translate multiple languages is highly desirable but not essential
Be mobile both in the UK and Globally
