Essentra is a leading international supplier of specialist plastic, fibre, foam and packaging products with three Strategic Business Units: Component Solutions, Health &Personal Care Packaging and Filtration Products. Every day they produce and distribute millions of small but essential components. Their products may not be noticeable – or even recognisable – but wherever you are, their business is all around you. Their international network extends to 33 countries and includes 53 principal manufacturing facilities, 64 sales and distribution operations and 5 research & development centres.
They are looking for a HR Graduate to join their team based from their offices in Milton Keynes. You will support the European HR Director in the Packaging division and also occasionally support HR in Packaging at a divisional level.
Monthly HR metrics – collect and analyse metrics and KPI’s within set deadlines to share with the European Leadership Team and at a divisional level
HR data analysis to support organisation design projects
Provide HR Generalist support to the Packaging Europe region throughout the employee life cycle, including but not limited to; new starters, leavers, employment changes, role benchmarking
Talent Management - Support the Packaging Europe region with the implementation of talent plans including development actions
Engagement - Support the HR Project Lead with the collection of accurate employee data for the group wide engagement survey
Organisation Charts – the role holder will be a key point of contact for up to date organisation charts for Packaging Europe including at an operational site level
Support projects from across other functions in the region, providing an HR viewpoint
Compensation and Benefits – work with the HR Managers and HR Project Lead to ensure divisional processes for annual merit increases and bonuses are completed with accurate data
As part of this role you will also join the 2 year graduatedevelopment programme training alongside graduates from across the globe aswell as being given the opportunity to train in key international locations.
A minimum 2:1 degree in Business or HR
Experience working in HR since completing University or a placement year in HR
Advanced skills in Microsoft office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
Able to travel and relocate as needed
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the region
Ability to work either as part of a team or independently in a fast-paced environment
A proactive individual with the ability to prioritise based on an understanding of the bigger picture
Communication skills – written, verbal, listening and presentation
High analytical capability and able to interpret large data sets
Career aspirations in compensation and benefits/HRIS
Able to speak a European language, preferably French, Spanish, German, Italian or Dutch - desirable
