Every day they produce and distribute millions of small but essential components. Their products may not be noticeable – or even recognisable – but wherever you are, their business is all around you. Their international network extends to 33 countries and includes 53 principal manufacturing facilities, 64 sales and distribution operations and 5 research & development centres.
They are looking for a Supply Chain Graduate looking to start an exciting and challenging career in a fast-moving environment. Reporting to the Supply Chain Leadership Group in Components Division of the business, the role will initially be based at their site in Kidlington Oxfordshire.
Support programme of project work within the Supply Chain function as required.
Engage with sites and functions as required for project delivery, understand and mitigate against adverse impacts related to specific projects.
Agree, monitor and report against Project plans and KPI’s
Work with Supply Chain colleagues to continuously improve systems, processes and procedures.
Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders within Marketing, Sales & Commercial and Supply Chain to drive visibility and ownership.
Support improved planning and service by integration of commercial / market intelligence into supply chain operations. Improve ways of incorporating demand data within S099.
As part of this role you will also join the 2 year graduate development programme training alongside graduates from across the globe as well as being given the opportunity to train in key international locations.
Minimum 2:1 degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or related disciplines.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Experienced user in Access/Excel
You must have drive, enthusiasm, a ‘can do’ attitude, with the ability to think for yourself and take responsibility for your actions from day one
You should be self-motivated, with good time management and excellent organisational skills.
Have excellent communication skills at all levels and demonstrable influencing skills
Process led with the ability to make trade off decisions and identify and drive process improvements
Ability to isolate, analyse and resolve problems
Seek to keep up to speed with external changes and sees opportunity within them.
