How much can I earn as an Investment Banker?
Investment bankers are known for high salaries and the average starting salaries usually fall between £30,000 and £40,000. With a few years experience you could expect to be earning in the region of £50,000 and if you gain a high level of experience you could earn as much as £150,000 as your base salary. These roles often come with welcome bonuses, yearly bonuses and commission structures that can make earnings significantly higher. Figures are for guidance only.
What qualifications do I need to be an Investment Banker?
Having a degree is a must to start as an investment banker. Although you can come from any degree subject, a degree in an area with a strong numerical or business focus will put you at an advantage.
