Graduate training schemes
We have a small intake, always aiming to recruit to retain. Supporting you is essential. We have the resources to give you as much support as you need. Because we are with you all the way, you’ll get immediate responsibilities – you’ll be valued, respected and given challenges from the start. Finally, you will get choices – you’ll be able to select your preferences from around 20 different areas of law.
There are some exciting options on your training contract. It will comprise four seats, each lasting six months. As we’re a full service law firm, you will have many areas of law to choose from. We try our best to balance your preferences with business and client needs.
If you’re based in our Liverpool or Manchester offices, you will need to travel between the cities for various seats. If you’re based in London, at least one of your seats will be related to marine law. Also, trainees with an interest in marine work can also apply for a seat in our Singapore office.
To help us manage our responsibilities effectively, we have chosen to join the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. The UNGC provides a recognised framework for how we carry out business in the workplace, with our clients and in our local communities. Hill Dickinson supports the 10 principles of the Global Compact on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
