As a trainee at Irwin Mitchell, you will get to know the different areas of our business. You’ll be given real responsibility and the chance to gain practical experience, helping you to decide which area of law you want to work in.
Many of our lawyers come from a non-legal background, so we welcome applications from all graduates and undergraduates, not just those who have studied law. We see our trainees as an investment for the future. Over the last five years we have consistently offered qualification roles to more than 80% of our trainees and have been one of the few firms to increase trainee numbers over this period.

We have recently entered into an innovative new partnership with The University of Law to create the IMU Law & Business School. Working alongside our in-house learning and development team, The University of Law will bring their technical expertise supporting the creation of a range of development programmes creating a career-long learning path for our people.
Whether you are a trainee, litigation assistant, marketer, partner or work in another discipline, Irwin Mitchell is committed to helping you reach the height of your potential.
