Job Description:

 

Control of the supply of Manufactured and Procured items in a timeframe that supports the company Master Production Schedule (MPS). Ensure that all material in supply chain is at an appropriate build standard, whilst maintaining material status within SAP. Expediting internal make and external supply items to comply with Production Schedules and monitoring output to report on any non compliance issues.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Control of the supply of Manufactured and Procured items in a timeframe that supports the company Master Production Schedule (MPS).
  • Ensure that all material in supply chain is at an appropriate build standard, whilst maintaining material status within SAP.
  • Expediting internal make and external supply items to comply with Production Schedules and monitoring output to report on any non-compliant issues.
  • Interface with M&SC and  Procurement to facilitate progress to completion of WIP or delivery of materials in accordance with required schedule
  • Control Customer returns and engage with internal stakeholders.
  • Co-ordinate supplier scheduling that may be impacting progress to completion of material to the production plan
  • Review , release and manage internal work orders in line with schedules
  • Control of RTV material logistics from shop-floor back to supplier.
  • Implementation of FRB/MRB actions.
  • Delivery of kits to and from production lines
  • Convert to Purchase Order’s any Call off material from suppliers against procurement enabled PIR’s or contracts.
  • Advise relevant internal stakeholders when delays are likely to impact achievement of MPS, proposing re-prioritisation of work within and problem solving
  • Initiation of shipping process
  • Administer & reschedule production orders.
  • Attend & contribute to load board reviews.
  • Key member of IPT

 



Role Requirements 

  • You must be able to satisfy the necessary security clearance for the role applied for and meet a minimum of 5 years permanent residency in the UK.
  • All our roles require predicted minimum of an upper second class honours degree in a relevant discipline (including physics, mathematics, electronic engineering, systems engineering, avionics, and computer science for our technical engineering roles).
  • Experience of material planning and control environments.
  • Technical Skills- Computer Skills including SAP Work order maintenance and SAP PO Maintenance. Good Understanding of fundamentals of MRP, push pull scheduling .
