Graduate Chemist - Analytical Chemist

Job Description

Our client is a well-established medical device organisation and currently is seeking to recruit an Analytical Chemist within their QC Department responsibilities : Sampling and testing incoming raw materials, in process and finished products according to in-house specifications and methods of analysis. Perform routine laboratory analyses. Ensuring that all laboratory equipment is qualified and calibrated regularly. Interpreting data and adhering to strict guidelines on documentation when recording data. Using a range of analytical techniques Examine analytical data and report trends using statistical software. Working collaboratively in cross-functional teams and managing projects. To be considered for this position you will need the following skills and experience. Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in chemistry or analytical chemistry. Previous experience in an analytical laboratory as an Analytical Chemist. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good organisation skills, with a flexible approach and the ability to manage changing priorities. Good knowledge of Microsoft office suite, especially Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. We can only accept applicants who are living in the UK and eligible to work without restrictions
