Job Description

Main Purpose: To facilitate and encourage effective, innovative and engaging learning that enables students to progress and achieve high standards. To contribute to, share and support the Academy ethos and corporate responsibility for all students' well-being, education and discipline. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: As a Management and Business Support Tutor you will need to be able to deliver Apprenticeships in Management, Business Administration, Team Leading and Customer Service. Maintain a good rapport with your learners and management within well-known national companies and small-medium enterprises, whilst providing them high quality service Motivate and support learners through their apprenticeship, providing training and feedback throughout and where necessary Effective management of workload and diaries to ensure efficiency in learner visits To maintain learners portfolios to agreed standards To complete accurate reports of learners on a weekly basis Ensure learners are seen every 4 weeks To have an understanding of how new apprenticeship standards are delivered and the EPA process Skills/qualifications: Excellent communication skills The ability to relate to staff at all levels The ability to encourage and motivate people Organizational skills and the ability to plan ahead and manage your time Presentation skills The ability to write reports, keep records, and work within budgets Computer skills. Knowledge in the core subjects. Requirements: A1/TAQA (or equivalent) qualification required PTLLS Must have competency in relevant tutor qualifications Ability to work on your own initiative with good organisational skills.
