Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work within an Inpatient team and a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to work within Surgery and Orthopaedics. Both are permanent roles and are based in Watford. The pay rate for the Band 6 role is £31,921 - £39,029 per annum and the pay rate for the Band 7 role is £39,332 - £45,534 per annum. Responsibilities of the Band 6 OT: - To supervise assistant staff on the team. - To deliver advanced assessments and treatments to facilitate discharge from the acute Trust and prevent admission to the in-patient wards. - The caseload is varied and challenging so an ability to work under pressure is essential. Responsibilities of the Band 7 OT: - To work with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate the rehabilitation and supported discharge of trauma orthopaedic patients. - To work with a rehabilitation team of OT's, physiotherapists and support workers to manage a caseload of elective orthopaedic patients, including enhanced recovery patients. - To work across surgical wards in the acute hospital setting to provide assessment and intervention to patients with a variety of presentations.
