Electrical and Electronic Engineer – Entry Level (Ref: EEE/190656) We have an exciting opportunity within the Facilities Engineering Department for a high calibre Electrical and Electronic Engineer, working on electrical instrumentation & controls in a high-tech manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will join a leading edge employer in a department which is critical to the production of magnetic read-write heads, used in data storage devices. The Facilities Operations Department are responsible for a broad range of buildings, engineering plant, systems and services which ensure the continued operation of our manufacturing ; As an Engineer, you will use your knowledge of engineering principles, problem solving abilities and analytical skills to contribute and develop engineering solutions in order to: Resolve systems & plant issues, Improve life cycle operation of plant Reduce occurrences of breakdowns Optimise performance and energy efficiency through control strategies Ensure accuracy of drawings and documentation associated with plant & systems. Ensure conformance with regulatory and health & safety operating procedures Applicants must possess at least a honours degree or equivalent in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Experience is not essential though applicants with post graduate experience should apply.
